company: PureDesign
project: This is an Advertisement for my personal freelance business. The Ad has not been actually used at this point, but I do plan on using it in the futer.
How: After brainstorming, and drawing up several thumbnails and roughs I took my own photograph of a bathroom, and then hand wrote the headline with a magic marker and then scanned it and placed it in the photo using phototshop. The typography and lay-out was then completed in Adobe Illustrator.

project: This is one Ad from an ad campaign for my personal freelance business. The Ads have not been actually used at this point, but I do plan on using them in the futer.
How: My goal was to creat a type heavy advertisement. So I began by thinking of what I wanted to communicate to the viewers. So after coming up with what needed to be said, I then brainstormed for ideas on how to communicate this through the use of typography. The entire lay-out was created in Adobe Illustrator.

company: Fuse TV
project: The goal was to creat an Ad campaign for a television network.
How: After chosing a Network, I then wrote out the strengths of the Network, and from there I brainstormed and drew up some thumbnails of several ideas. I then somehow talked a few teenagers into posing for the pictures. After searching through several photos I then brought them into Adobe Illustrator and came up with an original lay-out that still kept the look and feel of what the Network is currently using on the web, TV, and actual Ads.

company: Fuse TV
project: The goal was to creat an Ad campaign for a television network.
How: After chosing a Network, I then wrote out the strengths of the Network, and from there I brainstormed and drew up some thumbnails of several ideas. This was my second idea that I felt was very solid. I then somehow convinced some of my friends and classmates into posing for the Ads. After searching through several photos I then brought them into Adobe Illustrator. With this lay-out I wanted it to be more image driven with simple bold text. All in all I wanted to keep the Ad simple yet strong.

company: Texas Driving School
project: The goal was to creat an Ad campaign for the Texas Driving School.
How: After brainstorming and drawing up several thumbnails and I really had a hard time chosing between two of the ideas. I chose this one because I wanted to create something which was completley vector based. I wanted to draw everything myself. My other goal was to use color as my main visual emphasis. To achieve this I kept the images very simple and a basic two color job, with the only variations being tones and shades, of those two colors. I created the entire ad using Adobe Illustrator.

company: Bic
project: College project. (This was actually my first ever Ad that I created.)
How: The process to come up with this Ad was alot of fun. To generate some ideas we as a class individually wrote a one page story which had to include a "Bic" pen at some point of the story. From that story we were to decide on a headline and a tag line. Our thumbnail proccess was very extensive. We had a list of several diffrent types of Ads, and had to come up with a diffrent ad for each catagory. We then had a thumbnail critique so we could narrow our lists of ideas down to only the best. I'm not sure if this was my absolute best, however it was the best idea I had that I was able to actually create with the means I had at that point. The Ad was created in Adobe Illustrator. I got the idea for the lay-out by looking at the package design of "Bic" pens. I also redrew the "Bic" logo in Illustrator.
